在上一次訪問日本30年后，約翰·威廉姆斯回來參加了一場特別的音樂會——他與世界著名的齋藤Kinen管弦樂團首次合作，演奏他心愛的電影配樂，并與他的老朋友、世界知名指揮家小澤誠司（1935-2024）重聚。去年在三得利音樂廳現場錄制的《John Williams In Tokyo》現在由德國Grammophon發行，繼他廣受好評的演唱會專輯《柏林演唱會》和《John Williams In Vienna》之后，這兩張專輯登上了全球排行榜的榜首。
